IRC

Peace is partnering with IRC (International Rescue Committee) to assist with local resettlement of Afghan families. We will start with two efforts:

First, we are providing a room for IRC to store donations and supplies for incoming families.

Second, we would like to get a small team of volunteers together to help Peace mentor one family. The team would be in direct contact with the family and help with their individual needs until they are independent. IRC provides training and resources, so we would not be doing this on our own.
