Here at Peace we have an opportunity to pray together. All are welcome and you can join in anytime. A prayer leader is available to take your petitions, to pray with you and to pray for you.

Healing Prayer

Healing prayer ministry was developed from a congregational need for prayer and healing. The mission of this ministry is to pray with and for the congregational needs, to offer healing through prayer, anointing, healing services, and laying on of hands, and other opportunities as needs arise. The entire congregational life of this church is being emboldened and empowered through prayer and healing.

Prayer Bead Ministry

The Prayer Bead Ministry was organized in 2006. The use of prayer beads is a spiritual practice which offers a tangible reminder to bring prayer and meditation with God into our lives. Beads are distributed to our parishioners and friends who are in need of comfort, those celebrating joyful occassions or to those who just need spiritual uplifting and prayer.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry has become a very active part of Peace. This ministry knits shawls to console those who are grieving, comfort those who are ill and to bring hope to those in despair. If there is a person in need of prayer (these names can come from anyone, anywhere) a shawl will be started and passed from knitter to knitter. When the knitter receives the shawl, that person is asked to spend time in prayer with that particular person in mind as they knit. After the shawl is finished, the members of this ministry meet and say a blessing over the shawl; and they send it to the person it was made for.
