multimedia worship team
It is the responsibility of this team to design, create, edit, compile and project multimedia materials for use in worship. Currently this team consists of multimedia specialists and projectionists.
multimedia specialist
The responsibility of the multimedia specialist is to design, create, edit and compile the multimedia materials to be used in worship each week. Weekly activities involved include:
- participating on the worship design team, especially during the week assigned to provide multimedia content
- designing weekly theme image
- finding and/or creating sermon images based on input from worship design team and scheduled speaker
- creating PowerPoint file for each worship service following the worship outline
- compiling songs and lyrics
- finding and/or creating/editing video material
- marking up a printout of the sermon with slide transitions
projectionist
The responsibility of the projectionist is to project the multimedia content during worship. Weekly activities include:
- setting up and testing computer, projector and sound before worship
- sitting in during praise band rehearsal to learn music and lyric transitions
- projecting during worship based on worship outline and sermon printout marked up with slide transitions
- making any last minute adjustments to PowerPoint worship file (eg. song changes, re-arranging images)
