core values
God loves us and calls us to love God, love one another, grow in Christ and go in Christ
- Christ-centered community & authentic relationships - emphasizing small groups, discipleship triads, and ministry teams. An intentional, relational experience of community in Christ.

- Discipleship - developing an intentional spiritual growht process for adults, youth and children centered on connecting God's Word to daily life. Seeking to be a disciple making church.
- Prayer - as the foundation of all our life and ministries.
- Spirit-led - we seek to be led by the Spirit as we try to discern and obey God's leadership and guidance. God gifts everyone for ministry. The ministry is ofered by the whole people of God.
- Serving others - and connecting with those we serve.
- Lutheran identity - emphasizing the grace of God; gospel orientation; appreciation of the "reforming" heritage. We value grace not just as a doctrine, but as the way we understand God and our lives with God; the motivation of how we live as followers of Jesus.
- Openness/inclusivity - accepting people and valueing a variety of worship services. We acknowledge that mission is essential and style is a "adiaphra" (negotiable). We have much growing to do in the area of racial diversity.
- Sharing our faith and lives - moving from faith as a personal towards sharing. Attempting to connect (outreach) with others through their felt needs.
