adult groups
Our mission for providing studying and living together in faith opportunities at Peace is to connect people in community so that we can grow in Christ and serve others. For adults, we provide two types of groups: small groups and discipleship groups.
What's a small group?
- anywhere from 3-20 people
- groups that meet for a set period of time (6-12 weeks)
- groups that meet for fun, support, prayer, encouragement, and are committed to growing Spiritually with one another.
- groups that may use scripture, a current book, DVD's, or some other resource to guide their conversation.
- groups that often meet in homes, restaurants, coffee shops, or at the church!
- groups that meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
- groups interested in finding ways to serve each other, the church, and the community.
What's a discipleship group?
- a group of three or four people committed to meeting weekly to learn and grow in Christ for one year.
- part of "an intentional relationship in which we walk alongside other disciples in order to encourage, equip, and challenge one another in love to grow toward maturity in Christ. This includes equipping the disciple to teach others as well." (Discipleship Essentials by Greg Ogden)
